Is your smile missing a tooth? Dental implants is the modern alternative to removable dentures and bridges. A single tooth dental implant not only gives you a beautiful and seamless tooth replacement solution, it restores the form and function of the missing tooth.

A dental implant is a screwlike anchor that is used as an artificial replacement for natural tooth roots( root canal treatment equipment ). Dental implants can be used to replace a single tooth or several teeth, or to support partial or full dentures. Implants and crowns remain inside the mouth and do not require any adhesives to hold them in place. Made of materials that are compatible with the human body, such as titanium, implants have been used for decades in upper and lower jaws. By attaching to the jawbone and gum tissue, they provide a stable base for artificial replacement teeth, such as dental crowns, bridges and dentures.

Modern dental implants make use of osseointegration, the biologic process where bone fuses tightly to the surface of specific materials such as titanium and some ceramics. The integration of implant and bone can support physical loads for decades without failure.

For individual tooth replacement by dental implant machine, an implant abutment is first secured to the implant with an abutment screw. A crown (the dental prosthesis) is then connected to the abutment with dental cement, a small screw, or fused with the abutment as one piece during fabrication. Dental implants, in the same way, can also be used to retain a multiple tooth dental prosthesis either in the form of a fixed bridge or removable dentures.

It’s easy to appreciate the stability and durability that a dental implant restoration offers – not to mention the aesthetic quality of the implant crown!

You shouldn’t ignore a missing tooth! A missing tooth is more than just a beauty concern. Even if the gap is not a visible one, you still shouldn’t ignore it. Your teeth are designed to operate together in a full set. With the exception of wisdom teeth, each of them serves a unique function and specific role to give optimum bite and efficiency.

If you are missing a tooth, you are effectively placing more stress on the remaining teeth to replace the functional void it leaves. It is said that for each missing tooth, you stand to lose about 10% of your chewing ability. Even worse, a missing tooth can lead to bone loss and abnormal growth of your remaining teeth.
